Effectiveness of post-emergent herbicides application in protecting fodder beans against weed plants

Abstract

The results on the evaluation of herbicides from imidazolinone chemical class by their pre-emergent application in fodder bean crops are stated. In 30 days after treatment in the variants Pulsar, AS (0,75–1,0 l/ha) total weed plants number has decreased for 96,5%, fresh weight for 88,9–94,5%, by herbicide Tapir, AC application (0,5–0,75 g/l – for 96,5–99,5% and for 99,0–99,5%, accordingly. The kept yield in the given variants has made 5,6–7,0 and 6,0–7,3 cwt/ha, accordingly.
